The graves of veterans in Washington state are dressed nobly for the holiday season.
Volunteers spent the day placing wreaths at veterans cemeteries in Washington state. It's part of a national project called Wreaths Across America, which has spread to more than 750 cemeteries across the country.
The groups laid wreaths at the Washington State Veterans Cemetery in Medical Lake, Washington Veterans Home Cemetery in Port Orchard, and Washington Soldiers Home in Orting.
