How many modes of transportation do you take to get to work? A Gig Harbor woman can probably top you.

This week KING 5 is driving some of the worst commutes in Western Washington, sent to us by viewers.

Instead of driving 43 miles to get from her Gig Harbor home to her Seattle office, Jennifer Gish uses five modes of transportation.

She drives to the Southworth ferry park and ride, takes the park and ride shuttle to the ferry, takes the ferry to Vashon Island, takes the King County Water Taxi to Seattle, and then walks from the waterfront to her downtown Seattle office.

Gish said the commute takes 90 minutes each way, but she likes that it’s consistent. She said she can never count on Interstate 5’s consistency.
