Vancouver BC native Tyler Labine explains why you should binge-watch his show

Labine says New Amsterdam's hopeful message resonates in times like this.

SEATTLE — NBC'S hit show, New Amsterdam wraps up its second season this Tuesday at 9:00 pm.

We talk via Skype with actor Tyler Labine, who plays Dr. Iggy Frome on the show. Taylor is at his home in Vancouver BC right now, quarantining like the rest of us, but he said a good way to pass the time is to watch shows like his.

Taylor said, "The whole overriding vibe of our show is hope and hopefulness and I think people need that right now. And also I feel people are feeling pretty pent up emotionally and our show is one of those shows that encourages you to cry your face off. So if you feel like crying at all, or even if you don't feel like crying, maybe you don't know that maybe you feel angry a lot, watch our show and let it out through your face."
