EVERETT, Wash. — First responders in Snohomish County decided to help make a young boy feel special and loved for his birthday.
A surprise parade took place over the weekend for 12-year-old Cameron Garinger in Everett.
Mill Creek police and South County firefighters along with first responders from Snohomish County organized the last-minute parade for Garinger. He was recently diagnosed with stage 4 cancer.
Garinger along with his friends and family got to experience the parade and chat with the first responders after the event.
His family told KING 5 he is a quiet boy but during the parade, it was evident how much joy it brought to him.
Garinger is also a big Seattle Seahawks fan.
