Tukwila — Moctezuma's Mexican Restaurant and Tequila Bar is a 5 time winner of Best Mexican Restaurant in Evening's Best of Western Washington. Between the handcrafted agave margaritas and the flaming food, they deserve these wins.
The Grandeza Margarita gets a sidecar of orange agave liqueur - Grandeza - that hangs on the rim of the glass in a specially designed bottle. They also make an Old Fashioned featuring the same liqueur. The orange flavored spirit is exclusive to Moctezuma's, and made in Woodinville.
The tableside preparation of the Queso Flameado involves a hot stone bowl, house-made chorizo, salsa verde, and lots of cheese. And as if that's not enough, it's flamed with a shot of tequila before being delivered in all it's stretchy, gooey goodness, to the table.
Molcajete is another popular dish that's often shared; shrimp, steak, green onions steak and chicken all together in a stone bowl.
La Roca Steak, and Ribeye Tacos are also popular - they aren't brought to the table in flames, but they are epic nonetheless, and worthy of being called The Best.
