Just when you thought it was safe, another Mariner goes down to injury. First baseman Ryon Healy hurt his ankle while doing a post-game workout after Saturday's win.

Healy showed up to Sunday's game in a walking boot. The M's game was postponed due to weather.

He could be heading to the 10 day disabled list. He's scheduled to a have an MRI.

It's just unfortunate timing for the first baseman. He got his second hit of the season on Saturday, a three-run double that gave Seattle some breathing room in the game.

Healy is the third Mariner to suffer an injury in an unusual manner since the day before the opener.

Mike Zunino hurt his oblique on his last swing of batting practice, the day before Seattle's season opener.

Three days later, designated hitter Nelson Cruz crushed a home run. After rounding the bases, he stumbled on the last step of the dugout, injuring his ankle.

Both Cruz and Zunino are on the 10-day D.L.
