Redbox customers who rely on the company’s ubiquitous red kiosks for renting or purchasing movies and TV shows, will now have the option to enjoy that content via a streaming service that launched Wednesday called Redbox On Demand.

According to Redbox, there is no subscription fee, like Netflix or Hulu. On Demand users pay as they go and have 30 days to start watching a rental and 48 hours to finish. Digital copies which are purchased can be downloaded and watched offline.

“Redbox customers have asked, and today we’re delivering an On Demand option that offers them the best of both the physical and digital worlds,” said Galen Smith, CEO of Redbox, in a statement. “Redbox provides our customers with choice — the value they want and expect from our kiosks, the instant gratification of On Demand rentals and purchases, and the availability of new-release content, all without monthly subscription fees.”
