After 10 years in the industry, I’m thrilled to make my home in the PNW and with the KING 5 Sports team! I spent five years as an Emmy-winning reporter covering championship teams in Denver at our TEGNA sister-station KUSA 9NEWS, three years in Wichita, Kansas at KWCH12, and my first two years getting my feet wet at the rodeos in Rapid City, South Dakota at KOTA Territory News.
During my time in Denver, I pioneered a program called “Fair Game,” that covered underrepresented groups in sports, such as women, LGBTQ+, people of color, and people with disabilities. Our coverage gave voices to voiceless communities and truly represented the types of stories I hope to share in Washington. I also emceed the Sportswomen of Colorado banquet and was a voting committee member, to emphasize my commitment to women in sports and our local community.
Outside of news, I (still!) play a ton of sports! I’m a competitive flag football player, playing pass rush on a travel team. I play volleyball, softball, and mostly anything I can get my hands on recreationally. I’m an avid skier, a casual hiker, and a lover of all things in nature.
I’m a University of Miami graduate, a South Jersey/Philadelphia native, and have lived in seven states across the country. I currently live in Seattle with my wife and two beautiful cats, Norman and Harold.
