SEATTLE — Before coming to KING 5, I worked in Billings, Fargo, Tulsa, and Indianapolis. It is an honor to work for a station with such a rich legacy and tradition of serving the PNW.
Born and raised in Greenville, Kentucky, my interest in TV news was piqued every summer when I’d watch the midday news. Years passed, and in 2012, a chance encounter with a local news reporter encouraged me to apply for an internship at WPSD in Paducah, Kentucky. That internship is what started my career in journalism.
As a general assignment reporter at KING 5, I’m able to cover stories highlighting communities who deserve to have their voices elevated. Those shared concerns can help show us we all have a collective interest in our community.
I’m an accomplished clarinetist. I have bachelor’s and master’s degrees in music from Murray State University (’13) and Butler University (’22), respectively, and I look forward to using those talents to connect with the music scene in the PNW.
