I joined KING 5 in April 2000, and I currently co-anchor KING 5 Mornings from 4:30-7 a.m. with Jake Whittenberg.
It's a dream come true to work for a TV station I grew up watching as a kid. I was born and raised in Puyallup, and I love calling Western Washington home.
Before I came to KING, I worked as a reporter and anchor in Las Vegas, where I survived the heat, and Syracuse, New York, where I endured the worst winters of my life.
I'm a morning person, I love telling stories and I can't live without coffee. The best part of my job is being the first to inform our community of the news to help them get their day started, while consuming an endless amount of caffeine.
When I'm not working, you'll find me running, dancing, playing the piano and trying the city's newest restaurants. My greatest accomplishment in life isn't the awards or accolades I've received, it's my two daughters who are the most delightful, funny, joyful kids on the planet, and who I attribute to making me a better human being.
