Growing up, I was always the talkative, dramatic child, and somehow those traits stuck with me into adulthood. I hope to bring that energy to you each weekday morning as the Traffic Anchor at KING 5.
I joined the team in June 2021 and am excited to call Seattle home.
I am from South Carolina, so I am bringing some Southern hospitality to the Pacific Northwest. Before making the move cross country, I worked as a breaking news anchor, traffic reporter and host in Columbia, South Carolina. While there, I covered a range of stories that highlighted traffic issues and inspired people.
I will never forget the story of a husband who went viral after serenading his wife as she battles brain cancer. My reporting also got signs added to a neighborhood after speeding cars hit a woman's home twice.
My first job took me to Tupelo, Mississippi, as a multimedia journalist and anchor. One of my memorable moments there was covering the death of Aretha Franklin.
I graduated from the University of South Carolina. My passion for journalism started in high school while hosting a local radio show.
When I am not working, you will catch me binge-watching shows, trying new restaurants, traveling and shopping.
