SEATTLE — For decades, El Centro de la Raza has been serving western Washington communities with multiple services and celebrations.
On Saturday, Sept. 28, it continues the mission by honoring community members with special awards at the Building the Beloved Community Gala while also raising funds for 43 programs and services that benefit more than 20,000 individuals and families across the region.
The organization, grounded in the Latino community of Washington State, also hosts several cultural events and celebrations including a special Día de Muertos event.
