Gorge Amphitheater evacuates fans at Tyler Childers concert due to weather, nearby wildfire

The Grant County Sheriff's Office said the risk of the fire reaching the Gorge is low.

GRANT COUNTY, Wash. — Tyler Childers fans at the Gorge Amphitheater were evacuated from the venue due to bad weather and a nearby wildfire.

According to the Gorge Amphitheater on Facebook, lighting in the area that caused a small wildfire by the Columbia River forced the evacuation of the venue.

The Grant County Sheriff's Office said there is a low risk of the fire reaching the Gorge Amphitheater as rain approaches the area. The sheriff's office also said fire units are on their way to put out the fire.
