SEATTLE — Without a doubt there are many spots at Chateau Ste. Michelle to relax and enjoy some of your favorite wine – and there is one experience that is perfect for this time of year.
“This is our Bigloo - it’s new this year,” Katie Briggs Guest Services Manager for Chateau Ste. Michelle. “We’ve had igloos before and we decided to double the size and double the fun.”
The Bigloo can fit up to 10 people, and even better it is in an exclusive area.
“There’s a lot of privacy here, we have our own firepits," said Briggs. "You’re outside, inside. You’re fully comfortable, but you’re still enjoying the grounds which are so beautiful. It’s cozy, it’s warm, it’s snuggly.”
This experience isn’t just about keeping yourself warm.
“We have our servers who are dedicated to just this igloo and making sure they’ve got everything you need.”
“We really leaned into making sure that this was something special," Briggs said. "To enjoy the Bigloos in the best way is to sit back, relax and just indulge in all that’s being offered."
A selection of two charcuterie plates, four bottles of wine from a predetermined list of wines are all offered in the igloo.
“Definitely a unique experience that you’re not going to find pretty much anywhere else in the Seattle area.”
If you’re looking for something smaller than 10 people, Chateau Ste. Michelle has five other smaller igloos that seat up to five people.
“There’s a lot to be offered and if we haven’t thought of everything that you want, please let us know and we will always get you what you need,” Briggs said.
