EDMONDS, Wash. — Want to try brewing your own beer without investing in all the equipment?

Head to Edmonds and visit Gallagher's Where-U-Brew – a DIY public brewery.

The family-owned business features all the equipment, ingredients and recipes necessary. Customers can brew a batch in about two hours, and return a couple of weeks later to bottle the beer.

Owners Marcie and Tom Kretzler bought Gallagher’s after years of visiting as customers.

"Too much fun, we love this place,” Tom said. “She got me a gift certificate here for Christmas several years ago."

"We're a kid-friendly place,” Marcie added. “Kids can actually help brew beer but they can't help bottle because by then, it's alcohol. But when it's brewing, there's no alcohol."

Guests can also make root beer, cider or wine. Team Evening brewed a batch to see what it’s all about!
