At Seattle's new Bulletproof Cafe on Westlake Ave, the idea is "fat for fuel." This is the Bellevue-based company's first location in the PNW after two successful cafes in Los Angeles.
The company is best known for their namesake, Bulletproof Coffee: lab-tested, certified clean coffee with Brain Octane oil and grass-fed butter.
It might seem weird to drop some butter into your morning cup of joe, but Bulletproof claims it will help drinkers lose weight and increase brain power. Some swear by it, while others say it's just a fad.
The cafe also serves brain-power food and boasts a toxin-free space.
