Let us be the first to say Happy Birthday to Chinta, the soon-to-be 50-year-old orangutan at Woodland Park Zoo.
"Chinta's not only the oldest animal here at Woodland Park Zoo, she's also one of the oldest orang females (in the world)," says zookeeper Carolyn Sellar.
The zoo will host a Chinta birthday bash Saturday, February 17, complete with an orangutan cake, presents, streamers and a raffle to win an orangutan painting.
Chinta officially turns 50 February 19th.
