EDMONDS, Wash. — The viewer’s choice for "Best Kid’s Clothing Store" in Western Washington is the realization of a dream for owner Brittani Little.
When she first launched Little Bipsy Collection from her home in 2017, she was mainly interested in creating a line of basics her son could wear.
"I saw such a lack of just grey sweatpants - everything was so printed,” Little said. “So, I saved up everything and came up with our core collection.”
She named the business – and her eventual store in Edmonds – “Little Bipsy,” in honor of the nickname her grandfather gave her as a child.
Little’s idea took off, and within a year she outgrew a 15,000 square foot warehouse in Everett. The company now has an additional (and much larger) warehouse in Texas, and the brand is sold online across the country.
Little is also far from the only person running things – Little Bispy now has 78 employees.
The small business is also devoted to giving back. Last year alone, it donated nearly $2 million in clothing and sponsorships - including donating Little Bipsy Boxes to every newborn at Providence Swedish Hospital in Edmonds.
Little said none of the success or growth would have happened without the people around her.
"Customers, I love the customers so much. I don't want to get emotional but I wouldn't be here without them. And I'm just so grateful for the support that everybody gives, especially my team,” Little said. “I cry all the time – it’s happy tears!”
Little Bipsy Collection is located at 422 Main St in Edmonds and is open daily from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
