TORONTO – Lake Stevens native Chris Pratt stars in The Magnificent Seven, an upcoming western that opened the Toronto International Film Festival.

He told reporter Kim Holcomb that during the course of filming, there were a couple of unplanned “firings” off camera.

"A couple of guns going off, because we're compulsively spinning our guns, cocking them, letting off the hammer, spinning, spinning, and we have these caps in there, you know? And every once in a while throughout the course of filming you'd hear 'pop, pop' and someone would look around and be like ‘Oh man, I'm sorry. I was playing with my gun,’” he laughed.

The Magnificent Seven is rated PG-13 and opens on September 23. Watch for more coverage on Evening next week!
