Earlier today, Seahawk Doug Baldwin led some local kids thru warmups as they got set to scale the space needle.
They were practicing for the Base 2 Space fundraiser coming this fall. Participants climb the 832 stairs to the top of the needle! That's the equivalent of going up a 52 story building!
For the first time, the event is open to kids 8 and older.
"Celebrating a good cause, promoting a good cause, but also bringing the community together. Especially with these little kids, so they have that foundation built in them of doing stuff for otheB people." -- Doug Baldwin
All the donations go to Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center.
