SEATTLE —
Jim:
I am going to rave about one of my favorite musicians, you many know him as Patrick on "Schitt's Creek." His name is Noah Reid, he's an incredibly talented singer-songwriter. During the pandemic my wife and I really fell in love with his second album and said wherever he ends up touring next after the pandemic is done we are going to go see him. A few days ago we went and saw him in Portland. I also want to stand up for going to concerts out of town because it is a great way to see another city.
Kim:
Halloween decorations - I know this is an easy rave, but I am literally raving about it. The National Retail Federation said that this year people are break records for what they are spending on Halloween, it is expected to be around $12.2 billion. Everywhere I go, I'm taking pictures of people's displays because I am delighted by all of them. I hope you all take a second to take it all in because your neighbors have spent time and money on this.

You know how every streaming service is announcing price hikes all the time?
My rave is for Kanopy. It's a free service you can get through your library...featuring all kinds of movies, TV shows and educational programs. The movies are mostly art house films, the TV shows mostly British and the educational programs are great courses each over 6 hours long.
