SEATTLE, Wash. -- Five Corners Hardware opened on Queen Anne in 1940 and is still operating today, making it one of the longest-running businesses in the neighborhood. In June, the family-owned store celebrated 75 years in business.
Jean Shook's grandfather founded the store in 1940. Now, her son, Brian Shook, is running the store. The store has been in their family for four generations.
The 2,000 square-foot store boasts more than 18,000 products.
Five Corners Hardware is located at 305 West McGraw Street in Queen Anne.
