Got a hankering for some awesome tavern food and a cold beer? Henry's Tavern has your back, thanks to the dozens of beers on tap. You can even find rare brews you can't find many other places.
Henry's history is rooted in beer, so it makes sense they're passionate about the drink. Henry's Tavern first opened in Portland, in the old Blitz-Weinhard Brewery. The restaurant is named after Henry Weinhard himself.
Beer is also thoughtfully incorporated into some of their menu items. The cheddar ale sauce on their Mac & Cheese Burger is made from scratch daily with a bestselling IPA.
Lots of the sauces and dressings you'll find on your food are made in-house at Henry's Tavern. Your salad dressing, soups to warm you up, even pizza dough- all housemade!
One of the favorite items on the menu is the Tempura-Fried Cheese Curds. These aren't your ordinary cheese curds- they're made with lightly-fried Wisconsin cheese curds, crispy picked peppers, and served with local Mick's Pepper Jelly.
Their desserts aren't to be missed, either. Henry's Ice Cream Sandwich features housemade decadent chocolate cake and vanilla ice cream, covered in a chocolate shell. Deee-lish!
Henry's Tavern has several locations in Western Washington, including in SoDo, South Lake Union and Bellevue.
