Host Jim Dever referred to Burl Ives as the actor behind Santa Claus in Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer.
Burl Ives actually played Sam the Snowman. Santa Claus was portrayed by Stan Francis, who also provided the voice of King Moonracer.
We apologize profusely for the mistake and any lasting damage it may have caused to our audience.
