There are a lot of restaurants with a great burger, but how many of them are deep fried? If that has your mouth watering, you'll need to get yourself to Katsu Burger.
The Japanese-inspired burger joint first opened in Seattle's Georgetown neighborhood in 2011 and has since expanded to five locations. You'll find them in Bellevue, Lynnwood, Capitol Hill and Ballard.
The beef, pork and chicken patties are breaded and deep fried. The fries come topped with nori or edible seaweed flakes. And instead of ketchup and mustard, you'll find seven handmade dipping sauces with flavors like curry and wasabi. If you have any room left, don't leave without trying one of Katsu's unique milkshakes. We recommend the green tea or the Kinoko milkshake with black sesame seeds.
Katsu Burger's menu also pushes the envelope with its massive serving sizes. Their famous Mt. Fuji burger is a multi-layered behemoth with beef, chicken, pork, egg, bacon and three different cheeses. It's perfect for sharing, but we also won't judge anyone who tackles it on their own.
All five locations of Katsu Burger are open seven days a week. To find the location nearest you, visit Katsu Burger's website.
