WENATCHEE, Wash. — Lake Wenatchee State Park is a favorite campground for campers across the Pacific Northwest- and it's not hard to see why.
This glacier and snowmelt lake is a Pacific Northwest classic- a beautiful lake surrounded by tall trees and snow-capped mountains. It's not only beautiful but the perfect place to spend a few days enjoying nature and romping around the forest as well. The campground has space for tents and camping vehicle. Camping is available year-round.
There are plenty of activities at the state park. Campers can enjoy the lake with fishing, water skiing, swimming and more. The park has multiple trails for hikers and bikers- while in the winter, the park is used for cross-country skiing and ice-climbing.
While camping is available any time of the year, expert campers suggest skipping the late summer months if you'd like a less crowded experience.
