NASHVILLE, Tn. — There's colorful, modern art in nearly every corner. But when you walk in to Nashville's Hotel Preston, the warm welcome you receive will probably stand out the most.
"It's part of your soul to say hi to everyone, and how are you doing today, and actually mean it," said General Manager Marie Echols.
But Echols says that kind of southern hospitality is just one of the ways Hotel Preston makes you feel like a local.
"Most of our tourists are only here for a short amount of time, so we want to give them as much of Nashville as possible while they're here.
That's why you'll find art in the lobby, and photos of classic country stars in every room. There's also a bar and restaurant serving up great food, and live music.
But the music can also come to you. Hotel Preston has a unique service where they'll deliver an acoustic guitar to your room, along with a growler of local beer. That way every guest can feel like a star.
There's an outdoor pool, gym and free airport shuttle. There are also some perks for four-legged guests including an off-leash dog park and a special welcome kit.
