G-Wagen - the SUV that started it all

Seattle, Wash. — Kim Kardashian has one, so does Britney Spears. And it’s the fleet vehicle for Jurassic World.

Bradley Brys is a product concierge with Mercedes-Benz of Seattle, and he has a theory about Hollywood’s obsession with the G-Wagen.

“In every country, everywhere in the world, everyone knows what that symbol means. It means the pinnacle of luxury vehicle, and performance. Especially with celebrities, the G-Class is definitely an icon.” Brys said.

Other G-Class SUVS are also best sellers here in the practical Pacific Northwest. The 2017 GLC was the Motor Trend Car of the Year, and Brys says the brand new 2019 GLC 300 is another great vehicle, that has the bells and whistles, without the Hollywood price tag.

2019 GLC 300 is 'Just Right'

“I like to think of it as the Goldilocks SUV. It's the right size, it's not to big, it's not too small, it's incredibly comfortable and luxurious, tons of fun to drive."

Here's the bling: A camera that lets you see around the entire car. A light up threshold. And the cup holders don't just change from red to blue for the fun of it. They can both heat, and cool, whatever you place in them.

Keith Heindel has been with Mercedes-Benz of Seattle for 19 years and he's driven a Mercedes or two

But there's more to any Mercedes than cosmetics according Keith Heindel. At 19 years in the service department, he's driven more of these luxury vehicles than all of Hollywood combined:

"They're in my opinion the safest vehicles. Both my daughters drive Mercedes. For a reason," said Heindel.

Family, and community are important to this dealership, which has done business in Seattle since the late 1950’s. They support Seattle Children’s, the Mona Foundation, and other local causes.

Both Brys and Heindel share a passion for their brand, and the experience it represents.

Mercedes-Benz is one of the most recognized brands in the world, and I'm proud to be a part of that,” said Heindel.
