MOD Pizza helps feed hungry kids

MOD Pizza is a local company on a mission to give back to the communities they serve.

MOD Pizza is celebrating it's 9th anniversary. But instead of throwing a birthday party, the Seattle-based pizza chain is giving back to the community by Spreading MODness.

For every pizza made at MOD Pizza through Sunday, November 26, they will donate $1 which will be turned into a healthy meal for a child. The meals will be distributed through school backpack programs and food banks with the help of Generosity Feeds.

MOD Pizza was founded in November 2008 by husband and wife team, Scott and Ally Svenson. The first location was in downtown Seattle. There are currently 283 MOD locations across the U.S. and the United Kingdom.
