The "baby in the helmet" photo is making the rounds of social media. It was taken by Dawn Potter at her Issaquah studios... with help from Earl's wife.
"What you don't see is, she's just outside the frame with her hands there for their daughter in case she is to move or startle at all. It was totally fine," said Dawn.
This self-taught photographer founded Dawn Potter Photography to capture images of infants between two and six-weeks-old.
"Almost all the parents cry when they see photos. It's pretty moving to see that, the emotional connection."
She says each session is special for her and for parents.
"I mean that's the most precious thing in their whole world. And they're believing in me and trusting me with that bundle of joy."
Dawn keeps it simple for tired moms and dads, too.
"They need to bring food for the baby. They need to bring their baby. And that's pretty much it."
