New York City, NY — In Ocean’s 8 mastermind Sandra Bullock and partner in crime Cate Blanchett will need some help to pull off the greatest heist of their careers. So they call upon Mindy Kaling as a jeweler, Awkwafina as a street con, Sarah Poulson as a fence, Rihanna as a hacker, and Helena Bonham Carter as a fashion designer.
Every character has a special skill so our own Saint Bryan wondering if each of the actresses were to offer a master class in something other than acting, what would it be?
Sarah Poulson said “How to eat cake. Yellow cake with chocolate frosting. And how to consume the whole thing in one sitting.”
Kaling says her specialty is wrapping presents: “I love it and it's very meditative.”
Hathaway says her special skill is making a good plate from leftovers. “I can stand in front of the fridge and like things that don't seem like they're going to go well together I can whip something up.”
Awkwafina’s says her expertise is in Ableton, a software program that has made it possible for her to record songs that made the New York City native a YouTube star.
Sandra Bullock and Cate Blanchett share a special skill.
“Probably home restoration,” said Bullock.
“Yes definitely,” Blanchett agreed. “We could open a business. I think we would do well together.”
Bullock’s Georgia home can be rented for $1400 a night.
But Blanchett’s not done.
“I bake bread,” she said. “I also do a really great hospital corner on beds. That's the only proper way to make a bed.”
