KIRKLAND, Wash. — Looking for a place to catch a Seahawks or Kraken game? Want good drinks and food to go along with it? Moss Bay Hall has you covered.
The massive beer hall opened late last year in downtown Kirkland. It's from the same people behind Seattle's Queen Anne Beer Hall and offers a similar vibe. The restaurant can seat around 400 people and has two dozen flat-screen televisions.
"We've really built this place as a gathering place," said co-owner Juice Andrews. "Meet your family, your friends. Have a beer. Have some food. Watch a game. It's all the above."
Moss Bay Hall has 24 beers on tap including several from local breweries. A popular choice is the 51 Savage pilsner which was a collaboration with former Seattle Seahawk player Lofa Tatupu.
The food menu features classic beer hall fare like giant Bavarian pretzels and grilled sausages. There's also wings, fried chicken sandwiches and a delicious smash burger that comes as a single or double.
This year, Moss Bay Hall will be hosting its first Oktoberfest celebration. The festivities kick off October 17 and run through October 20. There will be a ceremonial beer tap, live music and more. You can also enjoy a special menu item - a massive three pound turkey leg. It's brined in buffalo sauce, grilled and is enough to feed the entire family!
Moss Bay Hall is open seven days a week for lunch and dinner. They also have a brunch service on the weekends. It's located at 111 Central Way in Kirkland.
