SEATTLE — It's a special day at Compass Housing Alliance, a group working to help people experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity.

"Our staff care for the people who need it most." Director of Advancement Liz Jarrard said.

Seahawks legend Marcus Trufant is coming for a visit.

"Today's the highlight of our year," added Jarrard.

Compass was selected as a "Team of Champions, Powered by Boeing" honoree, and Trufant is here to let them know how much they're appreciated.

"Man, I love these guys," Trufant said,  "because the work is never done. Long list of people that continuously need the help."

"Born and raised here," he added. "So anybody that's doing anything locally here, I'm all for it."

And there's one more surprise for the staff.

"I don't know how many of you have gone to a game," Trufant announced to the gathered crowd, "but we've got a special treat. Everybody here is going to the game."

The Seahawks distributed nearly 100 tickets to the employees.

"Our staff really deserves a treat and we're excited to join on game day," Jarrard said.
