The summer adventure that will make you feel like you're flying through the forest

Crystal Mountain's Flying Raven Adventure Course is the ultimate challenge. #k5evening

ENUMCLAW, Wash. — Crystal Mountain’s Flying Raven Adventure Course is a unique outdoor challenge with multiple levels that cater both seasoned thrill-seeker and first-timers.

“A full course up here in the trees. It ranges anywhere from 20 feet off the ground to about 40 feet," said Alex Anderson, Adventure Guide from Crystal Mountain. “We have things for all skill levels up here, which is really nice.”

The course is designed specifically with obstacles and elements that will test your strength, balance, and agility. First-timers can start on the Green Circle.

“We've got really good staff up here, they're really good about talking people through things,” said Anderson. “Getting them over those fears.”

“The guides are really good about showing you what to do and how to be safe,” said Emma Brice from Crystal Mountain. “You definitely have to get used to the height, but once you're in the groove, it's super fun.”

The most experienced thrill seekers can go high, way up to the Black Diamond routes.

“You were pushing 23 to 24 obstacles out here on the course,” said Anderson. “Things that twist, things that all slide back and forth.”

The course is a three-hour tour from start to finish. This includes the time it takes to put your gear on, go through the safety briefing, ground school instruction, and navigate the course.

Due to the challenging nature of some elements of this course, participants must be at least 6 years old, weigh at least 50 lbs and be at least 42” in height to participate. A maximum height of 6’6” and a maximum weight of 250 lbs.

The hours of operation are Fri – Sun 9:30 am to 2:30 pm / May 24 - June 30th, and starting in July, the operation is Weds-Sun 9:30 am to 2:30 pm.

Ticket prices start at $59.
