SEATTLE -- He was Harry Potter's BFF through countless adventures and 7 feature films. Now it appears Ron Weasley has disapparated himself straight to Seattle and the University of Washington campus. But Andrew Blackwood is not Ron Weasley or actor Rupert Grint...he's just a guy who happens to bear a striking resemblance.
"I've caught people like sneaking out their phone and like trying to be all sneaky about trying to take a picture of me."
Andrew has been dealing with this for years now.
"High school happened and then everybody all of a sudden thinks I look just like the guy. I was at Disneyland earlier this year. And this woman walks up to me and she was like, ‘Are you?'."
Ron Weasley sightings on the UW campus have become something of a team sport... You know, like Quidditch.
"Sometimes I just forget about it. Then my girlfriend or my friends will be like, ‘Andrew, those people have been staring at you for like the last 5 minutes straight'."
Andrew's roommate, Nathaniel Steinbock, even started a Facebook page for Muggles to post their paparazzi pics. One person who doesn't see the resemblance... is Andrew.
"I think his face looks a lot different than mine".
Of course he's not complaining. After all, there are worse things…
"At least I'm not Draco Malfoy."
