Though he grew up poor, Trevor Blake has achieved the American dream, Building four pharmaceutical companies then retiring at 50, a multi-millionaire.

You might guess his "Three Simple Steps" involve financial strategies or ways to manipulate money markets.
But you'd be wrong.

A lifelong student of physics, Trevor can recite studies that show thoughts are energy and, he says, negative thoughts can have an effect like quicksand on your life.

“For instance, if you're against debt, you have a lot of thoughts about debt, you tend to find yourself deeper in debt, and that's what quicksand feels like."

Trevor says, instead, try to picture yourself celebrating life debt free. It worked for him.

“The brain can't tell the difference between what is imagined and what is real so you can use that to the advantage.”

If step one is about rewiring the way you react to thoughts, step two is about taking quiet time to unleash the power of your mind.

“I found most success by sitting quietly first thing in the morning for twenty minutes. Something simple as that. So for 20 minutes in the morning, you just allow your 100-billion neurons to do whatever they want to do, undistracted, and they create 125 trillion signals in this time, and that can only be a good thing.”

Step three is about transforming great ideas into achievements.

“So if you're able to use your imagination vividly, and specifically then you can put yourself in a position where what you want to achieve doesn't seem so far away anymore.”

Trevor says there are no short cuts and there's no skipping ahead.

“I like the baking analogies, yes, because you have to use the right ingredients in exactly the right order in the right amounts, and that's the recipe for life for me.”

A recipe that suggests adding a dash of optimism to your daily diet can lead to a more fulfilling life it worked for this millionaire.

“And that little change makes all the difference.”
