Trooper gets set for this weekend's "Woof By Woofwest" at CenturyLink Field Event Center.

SEATTLE — "Trooper" was born without a front leg. He's missing an eye. But that doesn't mean he can't roll over, jump, even dance. And now this mutt from Thailand can hang with show dogs too.

This weekend's dog show in Seattle has a new name and a new approach. "Woof By Woofwest" welcomes any ole dog to roam the halls of CenturyLink Field Event Center alongside the world's finest canines.

"What I like about it is it's an inclusive event this year," says Amanda Boyd from Sidekick Dog Training.

She'll be one of the trainers available as part of the "My Dog Can Dog That" event. They'll help dog owners determine if their pooch likes agility, coursing, nosework, even dog parkour.

"A lotta times people will say, 'Oh my dog's not gonna be able to do that.' So for me, I like the challenge so I will immediately say let me give it a try!"

At Emerald City Pet Rescue, Trooper got evaluated early. Amanda says he seems to have an affinity for agility.

Because it's the first year, only 50 dogs will be allowed into the show. It's already so popular, registration is full for 2019.

"Woof By Woofwest" is this Saturday and Sunday.
