SNOHOMISH, Wash. — I can’t believe I’ve grown up in the area and this was my first time at Swans Trail Farms. It’s truly amazing! There are tons of activities for kids, delicious food and a u-pick pumpkin patch🎃 and apple orchard🍎!
Swans Trail Farms has been owned and operated by the Krause family since 1984. It started off as a dairy farm before morphing into what it is today. Now corn mazes, wagon rides and so much more grace the property, available for thousands of people to enjoy each year.
I first met farmer Nate Krause to get a tour of the property, then we headed over to the u-pick apple orchard, which has over 4,000 apple trees and four varieties. No admission is required for the orchard. You just pick the apples you want and weigh them as you leave the property. Apples cost $3.50 per pound. I got to try the Honeycrisp and Cosmic Crisp, and both were SO delicious.
Then it was off to the pumpkin patch. Tons of choices here and again the price is based on weight. I also found several Instagrammable worthy backdrops.
Another highlight: the FOOD! It was so impressive to see all the options including an espresso stand, pastries, donuts, corn dogs, smoked brisket and much more. Pro tip- the corn dogs and apple cider donuts were a highlight.
