This weekend, WGU Washington's commencement ceremonies will celebrate its largest graduating class since its start in 2011, with more than 3,000 people earning their Bachelor's or Master's degrees. The school's online, competency-based approach makes earning a degree affordable and accessible to even the busiest people.
WGU Washington Class of 2018 Graduate Leslie Frazier and this year's commencement keynote speaker, Emmy Award-winning executive producer and motivational leadership speaker, Bill Stainton, shared more about the school's unique approach to helping students achieve educational success.
WGU Washington's Class of 2018 Commencement Ceremonies take place Saturday, April 28, at KeyArena in Seattle. The Master's Ceremony gets underway at 9:30 am, while the Bachelor's Ceremony begins at 1:45 pm.
WGU Washington also welcomes incoming Chancellor, Dr. Tonya Drake. Dr. Drake has been a leader in higher education for nearly 25 years and was most recently the Vice President for College Relations and Advancement at Edmonds Community College.
