Experience Iceland at the festival featuring food, drink and a chance to go to Iceland

SEATTLE — Taste of Iceland arrives in Seattle Thursday, October 3rd and runs thru the 5th. Tickets to the festival are free with events from music, to cocktails to cooking demos. There’s something for every age.

Plus you might get a shot at spinning the wheel to win prizes that include a chance for a paid trip to Iceland and a dip in the world famous Blue Lagoon!

Mayor Einar Þorsteinsson was elected in January to lead the beautiful capital city Reykjavik.

Þorsteinsson, a former TV News anchor told New Day that that Reykjavik and Seattle have been sister cities since 1986 and have much in common. The mayor will be at the festival and says he looks forward to sharing with people the delights of visiting Iceland.
