Seattle — One in six children in Washington struggle with hunger. Northwest Harvest is Washington State's largest annual food drive and they are helping feed one family at a time. They distribute food to where it's most needed and Darla Duttkin is just one example. She, along with Thomas Reynolds, the CEO of Northwest Harvest, joined the show to talk about how families are being impacted.
One $10 bag can feed a family of four for a week. You can donate by either drop off, online, or by texting HOMETEAM to 41444. Just go to www.northwestharvest.org.
