To Pitch an Idea for a Segment
Email your pitch to newday@king5.com and include the following:
- Your full name
- Your contact information: e-mail, phone number and the best time to reach you.
- Your Segment Idea: Include Who, What, Why, and Where the person, place, or event is located. Tell us why this subject is relevant now, and why our audience will find it to be valuable.
- Reference Information: Photos, videos, or web links that add context to your pitch and back up your idea.
- Your availability to interview
If you email your pitch to newday@king5.com we will see it! Due to a large number of segment pitches, feedback and requests, we are not able to respond to every email. If a producer is interested in your segment pitch, they will contact you directly. If you do not hear back from someone within two weeks of your submission, we are not able to do the segment.
