SEATTLE — Every year Kyle Petty undertakes a cross-country road trip for charity, benefiting Victory Junction, a camp for kids with chronic illnesses and disabilities. This year marks the 25th anniversary of the ride and is the longest ever, covering eleven states in nine days.

A young camper enjoys a bungee jump at Victory Junction, a camp in North Carolina that's open year-round for children with chronic or serious medical conditions, always at no cost to the families.

Kyle joined us to share more about the inspiration for the ride, how helping children living with chronic illness helps feed his soul, and mapped out this year's ride. He also performed an original song and talked about his lifelong connection to music.
