SEATTLE — Celebrate spring with a quick spring - HOME refresh!
For me, the color of spring is decidedly green! 💚
Haul out the woven baskets to store lighter weight spring pillows & throws. I love stripes and ticking fabrics for spring pillows. Natural woven and fringed throws
Dot the house with pots of hyacinths, daffodils, and any other sprouting spring bulb you can get your hands on. I included some pansies as well.
No need to purchase new containers! Repurpose, interesting planting vessels - footed white soup bowls, a casserole serving dish….and get “planting” I call this pottering” around the house.
Incorporate pitchers of cut, spring blooms, hellebores, and anemone (and I’ve repurposed a pretty green Christmas candle container as a vase. ) Tip: remove as much of the wax from the container as you can.
Carefully pour boiling water, halfway up the container, let it cool, and the wax on the bottom will float to the top and you can just lift it off and toss.
Quick spring green place setting (use good sized decorative cloth napkins, instead of a tablecloth or placemats, blonde, bamboo, cutlery, mixed florals and checks.
Spring crudités all day!
After a winter full of rich food, I am craving super fresh, crunchy vegetables, and a great dip. Artfully arrange the veggies in a footed bowl.
Cheers to the lemon lime spritzer with cucumber garnishes, with or without spirits. Bluestone Gardens, honey simple syrup as a sweetener.
I’m just doing two adorable glasses with green embellishments.
