On September 17, 1992, 14-year-old Misty Copsey vanished after visiting the Puyallup Fair with a friend. Now, 25 years later, detectives with the Puyallup Police Department are trying a unique approach to breathe new life into this cold case.
Puyallup Police Detective Sergeant Jason Visnaw and Captain Scott Engle shared more about their decision to share Misty's story on social media, in her own voice, as well as what new leads this new push is generating.
