Seattle just became part of AARP's Network of Age Friendly Communities - joining Puyallup and 109 other communities representing more than 53 million residents across the US.
Doug Shadel, AARP's Washington State Director Doug Shadel, and Maureen Linehan, the City of Seattle's Director of Aging and Disability Services Division, shared what this distinction means for Seattle's aging population, as well as the city's other residents.
