Seattle — When it comes to investigating child pornography, the Seattle Police Department has a highly-trained secret weapon, who literally sniffs out hidden electronic evidence other investigators may miss or overlook. In fact, K9 Officer Bear found a hidden thumb drive that was instrumental in leading to the arrest of Subway pitchman Jared Fogle on child porn charges.
He's now part of SPD's Internet Crimes Against Children Unit. Bear's partner, Detective Ian Polhemus, shared more about the pair's work, as well as resources for parents and teachers to help protect children online, or report suspicious activity.
