In 2003, 264 northwest drummers set a Guinness world record for playing together simultaneously at an event known as Woodstick . This year has only gotten louder, and the group is hoping to reclaim their original world record... or maybe even set a new one! Donn Bennett, owner of Donn Bennett Drum Studio came to give us a little taste of Woodstick Big Beat 2011. We also had author and photographer of Sticks n Skins Jules Follett.
The 9th annual Woodstick Big Beat drum event takes place Sunday, November 6th, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Juanita High School in the field house. Free drum clinics and live performances start at 10 a.m.
