SEATTLE — Lunar New Year is Tuesday, Feb. 1st, and the Wing Luke Museum of the Asian Pacific American Experience is hosting a free Lunar New Year Fair this Saturday, Jan. 29th. Think of it as a warm-up to welcoming the Year of the Tiger.
The fair is from 11-3 p.m., outdoors at the Chong Wa Playfield (near the museum). There will be Lunar New Year-themed storytimes, interactive Lion Dance talks, and take-and-go crafts. This event is free to the public, and guests are required to mask up and follow social distancing guidelines. Go to the museum's event page to learn more, and get updates on the event.
