"The word pelindaba means "place of great gatherings"," says owner Aimee Hauff. "We want our product galleries to be a place to visit as well as shop and learn about lavender."
Every item in the store is handmade at Pelindaba Lavender's farm on San Juan Island. Started in 1998 by retired physician Stephen Robins, Pelindaba Lavender is both a local business and a beautiful place to visit.
In Edmonds, Hauff has a gift for practically everyone on your list - and she makes shopping easy. While shoppers can visit the store, you can also pick-up products curbside or order online. And if you live within five miles of her shop in downtown Edmonds, Hauff will deliver your order to you for free!

"It's so lovely because you're getting essential oil," Hauff says.
For the little ones in your life, the Lavender Aromatherapy Bears are always a hit. They're stuffed with organic lavender buds - pop one in the microwave, and you'll have a toasty, lovely-smelling friend.
"We've also got a silky milk bath which is good for young and old, but it's gentle enough for everyone," Hauff says.
Hauff has two favorites. She's a big fan of the Lavender Peach Chutney, which she uses as hot wing sauce during football season. But her all-time favorite is the Lavender Hydrosol, a natural byproduct of the lavender distilling process that's a perfect all-purpose cleaner, soother and disinfectant.
There's also great stocking-stuffers, like lip balm, bath salts and the most coveted item according to Hauff - the Lavender Mask Mist. And if you just can't decide, Hauff is there to guide you to the perfect gift - or you can choose from a beautifully pre-packaged gift for added ease.
